Passed suddenly away on October 15, 2022, Mr. David Murray Blanchard, age 62 years.

Predeceased by his parents, Yvonne & Frank Blanchard; parents-in-law Reginald & Hilda Lush; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, John & Sandra Lush.

Left to mourn with fond & loving memories are his wife of 30 years, Judy; children Cassie Stratton, Shane Redmond & Jesse Hughes; step-children, Deanne LeDrew (Willis) & Mike Martin (Lisa); grandchildren Kailey, Kolten & Jade; step-grandsons, Andrew Hayward (Jennifer) & Kobey Martin; brother Dennis; sisters Kathy, Debbie, Michelle Holt (Terry); brothers-in-law Paul Lush (Velma) & Dave Lush (Ruby), as well as many nieces, nephews & a large circle of family & friends.

Dave was the most kind-hearted man who would give you the shirt off his back. He was born in Saskatoon and spent the majority of his life in Edmonton & Fort McMurray, but Newfoundland held a special place in his heart, where he spent the last 16 years.

Public visitation to take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Wednesday, October 26th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will take place from the Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27th at 2 PM with Rev. Owen Holwell officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Dave's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
