Passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at his residence, Mr. Danny Layte, aged 62 years.

He was predeceased by his father, Obediah Layte; brother-in-law, Winston; stepfather, Donald Rideout.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his mother, Ruth Layte-Rideout; siblings, Ruby (Tracy), Edgar (Patsy), Abel (Bernice), Brian (Mari-Lee), Bonnie (Perry), Leamen (Lorraine).
Step Family, Lorne (Daphne), Fraser (Bonnie), Boyce (Josephine), Delores (Moody), Nola (Sheldon), Shawn (Fruitzyl), and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Danny Everett was born to Obediah & Ruth Layte in their home on Birchy Bay on May 18, 1960. He had a lot of health issues during his life. He enjoyed going to church, singing, visiting friends, enjoyed coffee with friends and going to Tim Hortons on a regular basis. He also enjoyed riding his bike and walking the roads in Birchy Bay and Baytona. He also enjoyed their Christmas cards from former Pastors and friends from the town. Danny will surly be missed by a large circle of family and friends.

Public visitation will take place from the Beacon Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay, NL on Friday, December 16 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

The funeral service will take place from the Beacon Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay, NL on Saturday, December 17 at 1 PM.  Interment will follow from the Salvation Army Cemetery, Birchy Bay, NL.
