It is with sadness that the family if the late Cyril Walter Oake announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL aged 81 years.

Cyril leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Ivy; son, Everett (Michelle), daughters, Shelia (Neil), Hazel, & Lisa (Terry); 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank & Rybert; sisters, Margie (Ross) Gillingham, Geraldine (Alonzo) Budden, Mona (Bazil) Gillingham, & Vera (Charlie) Torraville.

Cyril is predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Rose Oake; sisters, Stella White & Kathleen Stuckless; brothers, Paul Oake & Junior Oake

The public visitation took place Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.

The funeral service took place Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 2 pm from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Lewisporte, NL. The interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations in his memory were made to the Anglican Cemetery Fund.
