Passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mr. Jack Jewer, aged 78 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Wilhelmina Jewer.  Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Wavey of 56 years; son, Sam;  brothers, Daniel (Ross) and Percy;  sister, Hilda (George) and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place.

The public visitation took place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM.

The funeral service took place Friday, September 14, 2018 at 2 PM from The Salvation Army Citadel, Lewisporte, NL.  The interment followed at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory were made to Daffodil Place c/o the Canadian Cancer Society.
