Passed peacefully away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mr. Clifton Combden of Lewisporte, age 82 years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Lucy Pearl; parents, Stewart and Dorothy; brothers, John and Pearce; sister, Ella.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his children, Cindy (Darrell) Canning, John (Marlene), Tammy (Paul) Curlew; granddaughters, Alicia, Heidi (Damian), Jessica (Phil), Hannah; great-grandchildren; Rachel and Reed; siblings Edna (Bert) Mercer, Horman, Herbert (Betty), Robert (Betty), Howard (Cavell), Loretta and a large circle of relatives and friends.

I n light of the current coronavirus pandemic, there will be no public visitation or Funeral Service. All services will remain private for immediate family only.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Kids Breakfast Program at Lewisporte Academy where Clifton worked as the custodian at the academy until his retirement would be gratefully accepted.
