It is with sadness that the family of the late Clayton Mews announces his passing at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL aged 88 years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Gladys; parents, Joseph and Ida Mews; sister, Annie (William Quinlan); brothers, Augustus, Jack and 2 baby brothers; sister-in-law, Ivy.
Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his children, Woodrow (Marie), Ida (Jerome Hefferan), Wallace (Judy), Lorne (Sandra), Eric (Eleanor), Faye (Dave Carter), Melvin (Cathy), Boyd (Sylvia), Hazel (Ted Quinlan), Treena (Dwayne Nippard); grandchildren, Jason, Mark, Lisa, Joey, Terrilynn, Tanis, Serena, Wally, John, Lorna, Nadine, Erica, Paul, Matthew, Zachary, Craig, Abbie, Sabrina, Alexandra, Jonah, Victoria and Claudia; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Madisson, Brooklyn, Larissa, Alisha, Ryder, Clayton, Michael, Christopher, Daniel, Megan, Gregory, Joshua, Thomas, Hannah, Eva, Ethan, Gabrielle, Lucas, Tyler, Mackenzie, William, Jackson, Ashton, Luke and Brody; sister, Bessie (Norman); brothers, Adolphus, Alvin (Jean), Eric (Judy); sisters-in-law, Nora, Margaret and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will take place from the Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay on Friday, June 3rd from 7-9 PM and Saturday, June 4th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will take place from the church on Sunday, June 5th at 2 PM. Interment will follow from the Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Birchy Bay will be gratefully accepted.
