Passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Lewisporte Health Centre, Lewisporte, NL, Mr. Clarence Eli Brenton, age 73 years, of Comfort Cove-Newstead.

He is predeceased by his parents, Henry & Annie Brenton & Baby Brother, Jimmy.

Clarence leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Edna of 54 years; sons, Grant & Texas; daughters, Gail (Bruce) Brenton, Karen (Melvin) Mills & Tammy; sisters, Pam (Ray) Whiteway, Shirley (Abel Watkins), Marie (Oliver) Luff; brother, Calvin (Greta); grandchildren, Shane & Vincent Mills, Tyler & Nicole Brenton; long life friend since childhood, Sterling Brenton.

Clarence was blessed to have a large number of relatives and friends who are also mourning his loss.

Public visitation took place from the Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove-Newstead on Friday, July 10th from 7-9 PM and Saturday, July 11th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

The funeral service took place from the church on Sunday, July 12th at 2 PM. Interment will follow from the Salvation Army Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Diabetic Association was gratefully accepted.
