Passed away at North Haven Manor on Saturday, February 11, 2023 surrounded by her loving family, Mrs. Catherine Simms, age 90 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Garland Simms; her parents, Frederick and Violet Gill; Stepfather, Edgar Simms; brothers, Ronald (Audrey) Gill, Cluney (Maisie) Gill; daughter-in-law, Glenna Simms; brother-in-law, Wilson (Sybil) Simms; sisters-in-law, Ruby (George) Torraville, Rowena (Thomas) Gavin, Rebecca Gill and special niece, Betty Hancock.

Left to mourn with fond and precious memories are her four children, Violet (Eric) Chaulk, Edgar (Judi), Heather (Chris) Dwyer and Winna (Jim) Ryan; grandsons, Jamie Ryan, Mathew (Tammy) Dwyer, Adam (Jessica) Dwyer, Mark Simms (Amy) and Shane (Stephanie) Ryan; great-grandchildren, Carly & Kaiden, Raquia & Raquel, Suri & Sage; her brother, Albert Gill and a large circle of family and friends.

Catherine was a resident at North Haven Manor for 7 1/2 years. The family would like to thank the staff for the exceptional care that was given to her.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home on Monday, February 13 ^th , from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

The Funeral Service, for family and friends, will take place from the funeral home on Tuesday, February 14th, at 11 am.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
