Passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mrs. Catherine Higgins, age 77 years of Norris Arm, NL.

She is predeceased by her parents, Dan and Rita Power; great-granddaughter, Julia; twin sister, Mame;  sisters,  Melse and Jessie. Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her husband, Leo;  children, Wayne (Marjorie), Joan (Glen), Vince, Bonnie (John), Darren (Anne), Roger (Tanya), Trevor (Debbie);  grandchildren, Robin, Jeffrey, Latoya, Haily, Garry-Lee, Gennilea, Melissa, Joey, Sam, Jenny, Shane, Jillian, Denai, Chantel; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Evan, Emma, Ethan, Kaylee, Cole, Sophia, Addison, Abby, Michael and Devon;  brothers, Ed (Nellie), John, Jim and Pat (Linda);  sister, Helen (Gary) and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

The public visitation will take place from the Roman Catholic Church, Norris Arm, NL on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 7-9 pm.

The funeral service will take place from the Roman Catholic Church, Norris Arm, NL on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 1:00 pm.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully accepted.
