Carmen Marlene Curtis was born December 23, 1969 to Frank and Joy Curtis of Stanhope, NL.

Carmen passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL on October 23, 2025 at the age of 55 years old.

Carmen was predeceased by her dad, Frank Curtis. Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her mom, Joy Curtis; sister, Carla (Dwayne Patey); brother, Trevor (Amanda) Curtis; her nieces and nephews, Brittany, Hunter (Ainslie), Jackson, Lucas and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Carmen loved to read and write poems.  Sitting in the sun with her bible or a good book was where she could be found on a beautiful day!

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home for family and friends, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 2PM.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Crohn's and Colitis Canada would be gratefully accepted.
