Passed peacefully away in the arms of his loving children and wife Mr. Calvin  Bailey, age 71 years.

Left to mourn his loving and precious wife Judy; his darling children, Stephanie (Ryan Shackelton) and  Stephen and his most precious granddaughter Avilyn Grace, whom he adored with his whole life, brothers, Edgar (Brenda), Eugene (Theresa), Charles (Sharon); sisters, Janet, Ruby (Jerry), Susanne (Bob), Mabel (Neville), Doreen (Mike), Rebecca (Gerald), Virtue.

He was predeceased by his parents, George and Maude Bailey, parents-in-law, Roy and Bertha Anthony and sister Bernice.

Cal was a man whose personality filled a room. Known for his stories and love of friends and family he leaves behind a wealth of memories for us to hold on to. A better husband, father, poppy, brother, uncle or friend could not be found. Rest easy on God's golden shore. We love you.

Our family would like to extend our thanks to the following people: the doctors and staff from the Cancer Clinic at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center, especially Dr. House and Dr. Lush; the nurses at north Haven Manor; Heather Eveleigh for her love and care and all friends and family that supported us along the way.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Wednesday, April 10 ^th 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  The Funeral Service will take place from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Lewisporte on Friday, April 12 ^th

at 3 PM. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Lewisporte.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Central Health Cancer Clinic, Grand Falls-Windsor would be gratefully accepted.
