Obituary

It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Bryan Snow of Lewisporte, NL share the news of his passing on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

He is predeceased by his father, Warren Snow and his fathers-in-law George Wells and Lloyd Burt.

Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life and wife of 36 years, Kim; children, Jessica (Rowan) and Brandon (Grace), and his cherished unborn grandchild who is due in December who he couldn't wait to hold. He also leaves his mother, Maisie; brothers and sisters, Shawn, Leon (Miriam), Kelly (Lee), Stephanie (Chris); mother in-law Leona; and brothers and sisters-in law, Keon (Arlene), Kevin (Tina), Kendra (Danny), Krista and Marc (Tracy). He also leaves behind many loved nieces, nephews, their fur baby, China and his best friend Todd White who he considered a brother.

Bryan met Kim in 1984 in Little Burnt Bay when he returned home from Toronto. In 1988 they started a life together in Lewisporte that Bryan was very proud of. Family was everything to him. His children were his world and he was very excited to see his family continue to grow.

Bryan left home for work at the age of seventeen. His career took him all across Canada, from Labrador to the Northwest Territories, Northern Ontario, Alberta and New Brunswick where he met countless friends. Once Bryan met you, you were his buddy for life. Bryan had the ability to talk to anyone. He could make a friend out of a complete stranger in the time it takes to order a double double. Bryan loved moose hunting with his friends, sitting on his front bridge and enjoying the view, and playing a competitive game of crib (especially when he won). Bryan loved to tell a story, have a laugh, and share a joke. He will be deeply missed by anyone who had the pleasure to meet him and call him a friend.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home 262 Main St. Lewisporte, on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9pm.

The funeral service will take place from the Pentecostal Church, Little Burnt Bay, NL, on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 2 pm.  Interment will follow from the Community Cemetery, Little Burnt Bay, NL.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to Ronald McDonald House or S.P.C.A would be gratefully accepted.
