It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Penney, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the Health Sciences Center, St. John's, NL at the age of 70 years.

He was predeceased by his parent, Kenneth and Marie Penney;

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Barbara; sons, Stephen (Mary Anne), Colin (Sarah); grandsons, Jackson and Alexander; sister, Debbie ( Rick Nicholas) and a large circle of family, friends and colleagues.

He was a proud Captain of the Canadian Coast Guard where he served for over 40 years.

In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place.
