Betty Normore, age 76, peacefully passed away at North Haven Manor on Monday, February 13, 2023, surrounded by her husband Frank Normore and her loving sisters.

She was predeceased by her first husband Henry King; her daughter, Patricia; her parents, Edna and Frank Gillard; her brothers, Clarence, Wallace, and Ewen; and her sister Jean.

Left to mourn with fond and precious memories are her husband, Frank Normore; her nine children, Roy (Patsy), Les (Carol), Marg, Gord (Melanie), Maxine (Reg), Susanne (Jerry), Elaine (Alan), Jason (Connie), and Stephen (Gina); her grandchildren, Amanda, Cora-Lee, Robin-Lee, Crystal (Blair), Taylor, Brooklyn, Phillip (Jennifer), Karly, Brandi, Chloe, Courtney, Dylan, Kyle, Kellie, Luke, Todd, and Jake; her great-grandchildren, Nathan, Miranda, Tunisa, Nevada, Kara, Aiden, Colby, Chase, Winter, Skye, Hailey, Parker, and Grayson; her great-great-grandchildren, Venny, Rosie, Quinley, and Haisley; her brothers and sisters and a large circle of family and friends.

Betty was a resident at North Haven Manor for 7 years. The family would like to thank the staff for the exceptional care that was given to her.

Visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Thursday, February 16 ^th , from 7-9 pm.

The funeral service will take place from the Salvation Army Church, Twillingate, NL on Friday, February 17 ^th , at 2pm.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation or a charity of your choice.
