SQUIRES, Betty Marie Kathleen (nee Wells) – Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, Betty Marie Kathleen Squires (nee Wells) at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Bert and son Glynn. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Glynda Scott (Perry) and Maxine Ricketts (Darrell); sons: Lorne (Cindy) and Brian; grandchildren: Chris (Holly), Nicole (Jim), Jennifer (Keith), Michael (Leanne), Matthew (Virginia), Jonathan (Nicole), Heather (Ben), Lauren (Max) and Laura. Also leaving to mourn 12 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the staff at the Glenbrook Lodge for the exceptional care they showed mom. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Friday from 7-9pm. The service will take place at The Pentecostal Church, Little Burnt Bay, NL on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 Government restrictions in the area the service will be for family only. A burial service will follow the service at The Pentecostal Cemetery, Little Burnt Bay, NL. No flowers by request, donations in her memory may be made to Diabetes Canada.
