Bernice Mildred Hutchings at age 85, passed peacefully away at the Lewisporte Health Center, Lewisporte, NL on Wednesday April 21st, 2021.

She was predeceased by her parents, Naomi & Allan Hoddinott; sister, Daisy; Brothers,  Aubrey and Varrick; Son-in-Law,  Grant White and her grandson, Jody Hutchings. Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her husband, Wallace; her six children, Audrey, Garry (Madonna), Owen, Leroy (Robin), Brian, Sherry (Ralph); 10 Grandchildren and 22 Great-Grandchildren; Her seven siblings, Sterling (Viola), Greta, Phyllis (Alvin), Gordon (Barbara), John (Cora), Alma (Don), Judy (Ray) and sister-in-law, Verna;  Large circle of friends and workers at Whites Family Care Home and also at North Haven Manor at Palliative Care.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Friday, April 23rd from 2-4 PM following COVID government regulations.  The Funeral Service will take place from Maranatha Pentecostal Church, Brown's Arm on Saturday, April 24th at 2 PM for invited guests only. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Brown's Arm.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cemetery Fund will be gratefully accepted.

Bernice was a lady that loved life to the fullest and enjoyed her outings with her sisters and daughters. Bernice loved her crafts, knitting, car rides. She loved playing board games and spending time with her family, friends and especially her husband who she dearly loved. She also loved to see her boys come for a visit and have a yarn. She's a lady that will be missed by all and especially her knitting buddies! And most every kid in Browns Arm will remember her for her popsicles.
