Passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Mr. Bernard Victor Peckford of Change Islands, age 71 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Hilda Peckford; brother ,Reginald; father-in–law, Aidan Hynes;Brothers-in-law, Raymond Hurley, & Thomas Closs.

Leaving to mourn his passing are his wife of 46 years, Evelyn Joan; children, Donna (Glen Mason), Dwayne, Craig (Kelly) and Jeanette (Paul Curtis); Four grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Claire and Avery; Mother- in- law, Edna Hynes; His siblings, Audrey, Morley (Marg), Elsie, Pat (Jim), Lloyd (Kathleen), Stan (Bonnie), Isabel (Elden), John (Jean), and Wayde; Sister- in –law, Marilyn Closs; Brothers-in- law, Ross( Marilyn) Hynes, Frank (Cindy) Hynes and a large number of nephews and nieces and friends.

Public visitation will take place from St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Change Islands on Saturday, April 4th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Sunday, April 5th from 2-4 PM. The Funeral Service will take place on Monday, April 6th at 1 PM with cremation to follow.

In Lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the charity of one's choice.
