It is with heavy hearts that the family sadly announce the sudden passing of Benjamin Joseph Che Spracklin who passed away on Sunday, October 22nd, 2023 at the age of 20 years old.

Left with loving memories are his parents, Brent and Paula Spracklin; sister, Melanie (Barry); nephew, Lucas; niece, Leah; Aunt Gladys (Jim), Aunt Flo (Austin), Uncle Don (Jean), Uncle Bob (Nathleen), Aunt Sheila (Wally), Aunt Pansy (Robert), Uncle Harvey (Jean), Aunt Carol (Art), Aunt Judi (Edgar), Aunt Janice, Aunt Patina, Uncle Doug (Lori), Aunt Ingrid, Uncle Paul (Susan), Uncle Monty (Carolann), Uncle Jason (Anne-Marie) and Uncle Clint, as well as numerous cousins and other close relatives. Ben also leaves behind a large circle of friends, especially his girlfriend Kate.

He is predeceased by his grandparents, Gilbert & Hazel White and Clarence & Bette Spracklin, and his Uncle Scott (Sibbald).

Ben was always full of laughter and carried a smile on his face. He was truly one of a kind, the most caring with a big heart and would help anyone, big or small. He had such a large circle of friends and family who he enjoyed spending much of his time with. His greatest passion was playing hockey and spending time with his dog Gus.

Ben recently graduated as an Air Craft mechanic at CNA and was working with Jazz Airlines, Halifax NS.

As per the family's request, cremation is to take place.  There will be a gathering of Family and Friends at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Tuesday, October 31st from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  The Memorial Service will take place from the Salvation Army Citadel, Lewisporte on Wednesday, November 1st at 2 PM.
