Passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Lewisporte Health Center, Lewisporte, NL Mr. Augustus Connors, aged 88 years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Olive; parents, Michael and Lena Connors; son, Cornel; siblings, Peter (Irene), James and Angela.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his children, Linda (Allan), Lena (Tom), Terry (Jean), Cathy (Derrick), Betty (Ed); grandchildren, Leon, Jason, Chad (Darlene), Jeff, Cassandra, Carla (Paul), Shelley, Ashley and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Aleah, Olivia and Aurora; sister-in-law, Dolores Connors; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

The public visitation took place from the Roman Catholic Church, Norris Arm, NL on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 7-9 PM and Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM.  The funeral service took place from the Roman Catholic Church on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11 AM.  The interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Norris Arm, NL. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations  in his memory may be made to the Cemetery Fund or the Autism Society.
