Passed away on Wednesday, January 16th, 2025 at Lakeside Home, Gander, NL, Mr. Arthur Norman Whelan, aged 90 years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Jean; parents, George and Gladys Whelan; sisters, Nellie (John Brace), Annie (Jack Squires); brother, Clarence; sister in law, Shirley Whelan.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories is his niece, Michele (Bob Parsons); great nephew, Marcus; brothers, Jim (Jane) and Ford; sister, Glenis; sister in law, Vera and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Friday, January 17th, 2025 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM.

The funeral service will be held at the St. Matthews United Church, Lewisporte, NL on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 at 11AM. The interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Noggin Cove, NL at 2PM.
