It is with great sadness that the family of Angus Joseph Manuel of Norris Arm announces his passing on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Dr. Y.K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Wesleyville, NL at the age of 86.

Predeceased by his wife Elossie Manuel; son, Gerard Smith; parents, William and Anastasia Smith; brothers, James Smith, Jerry Smith; sisters, Elizabeth Kennedy and infant sister Madonna Smith.

Leaving to mourn with loving memories and cherished moments  are his son Sean (Amanda); grandchildren, Crystal (Spencer) Decola, Shawna, Ashton, Shyanne; sister, Margaret (Ron); brothers, Donald (Nina), Hughie (Jeanette), Raymond (Jackie) and a large circle of special nephews, nieces and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the doctors and nurses at Dr. Y.K. Joan Kittiwake Health Centre, Wesleyville for the wonderful care given to Angus during his brief stay at the hospital. The compassion and kindness shown during that time was remarkable.

The public visitation will take place from Roman Catholic Church, Norris Arm, NL on Thursday January 23, 2025 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

The funeral service will be held at the Roman Catholic Church, Norris Arm, NL on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 1 PM. The interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Norris Arm, NL.

As expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund, Norris Arm.
