Passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 after a long battle with cancer at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mr. Alonzo George Budden, age 78 years of Victoria Cove.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Stella Budden;  brothers, Ross and Leonard;  sister, Joyce and brother-in-law, Francis. Left to mourn his passing with many fond and loving memories are his wife of 57 years, Geraldine (Oake);  3 children, Keith (Darlene), Arlene (Randy LeDrew) and Bradley (Jodi);  6 grandchildren, Ashley (Trevor), Dylan (Jana), Jonathan (Erica), Janessa (Thomas), Sara and Tyrone;  5 great-grandchildren, Landon, Ryder, Allie-Jean, Cameron and Leland;  brothers, Edgar (Olive), Darrell (Betty);  sisters, Jacqueline (Albert), Helen (Scott), Ivey (Seth), Alice (Eugene);  sisters-in-law, Marie and Mabel as well as a large circle of  other relatives and  friends with special buddies Eugene and Jane, Gord and Sue.

As per his request, cremation has  taken place.  A memorial service will take place at a later date.
