Passed away at North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL, Mrs. Alma Yates, aged 89.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her daughters, Nathleen (Bob) White, Beverley (Rick) Russell; son, Leslie (Marie) Gregory; grandchildren, Stephanie (Jody) Gedge, Gregory Batt (Sabrina), Morgan (Joanie) Gregory, Taylor (Matt) King; great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Madison, Grayson, Allison; sister, Olga Gregory (Everett); step daughters, Ruth (Neil) Hicks, Joan (Bob) Hendricks; step grandchildren, Terrance Russell, Conrad Russell, Alison Hicks, Andrew Hicks, Justin Hendricks, Carrie Matthews; step great-grandchildren, Dusty, Stevie, Oliver Hicks and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ambrose and Leah Wheeler; 1st husband, Lester Gregory; 2nd husband, Richard (Dick) Yates; sister, Annie Brett, brother-in-law, Alfred Brett; step son, David Yates.

Public visitation will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.

Funeral service will take place Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 2pm from St. Matthews United Church, Lewisporte, NL.

Interment to follow at the St. Matthews United Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.

As expression of sympathy  in lieu of flowers donations to the St. Matthews Cemetery Fund will be gratefully accepted.
