Passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL,  Mrs. Alma Mable Stryde, aged 96 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert; parents, William and Gladys Allingham; siblings, Drucilia (Frank Field), Olive (Fred Saunders), Rex, Tom and Basil. Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her children, Gladys (Robert Harris), Ross (Valda), Vida (Malcolm Rowsell), Gary (Joyce), Boyce (Gail); a large number of grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great–great- grandchildren; siblings, Grace (Chuck), Edgar (Elsie), Steadman, Triffie (Ern), Lew (Thelma), June (Ralph), Laverne, Horace and a large circle of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

The public visitation took place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 2-4 PM following COVID government regulations.

The funeral service took place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 2 PM for invited guests only. The interment followed at the Community Cemetery, Embree, NL

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory were made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
