Passed peacefully away on January 3, 2022 at the age of 93, Allen James Watkins of Comfort Cove-Newstead, NL.

Predeceased by parents, James and Annie Watkins; brothers, John and William; sisters, Mary, Annie, Abigail and Emma; son, Freeman; grandchildren, Joan, Denika, Teegan and Chelsey; daughter-in-law, Leona.

Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Tryphena of 72 years; sons, Raymond, Harold (Cavell), Peter (Carol), David, Morley (Ruth), Terry (Cathy); daughters, Lily (James), Phoebe (Dennis), Audrey (Arthur), Sheila (Eric); 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, and a large circle of other family and friends.

The funeral service for family and invited guests will take place from The Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove-Newstead, NL on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 2 pm.

The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Comfort Cove-Newstead, NL.

In keeping with Covid-19 Government Regulations those family and invited guests attending the church for the funeral service are to present your NLVaxPass ID along with a  photo ID.

As expressions of sympathy, donations the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation will be gratefully accepted.
