Passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025 at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Mr. Alfred C. Leyte, age 92 years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Ethel; parents, William and Ida Leyte; son, Darren Alfred Leyte; granddaughter, Lorelei Holmes; siblings, Melvina (Vernon Lane), Stan Layte, Ray Leyte and Reg (Elsie) Laite.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his children, Beverly (sis) (Lloyd Morris), Marlene (Danny Budden), Angela (Rod Kluk) and Lorena (Dan Kocher);  grandchildren, Tanya (Leonard), Colin (Leah), Stephen (Kaitlyn), Marlena (Mike), Christopher (Dreana), Danielle (Sam), Clayton (Jayda), Nicole (Dave); great-grandchildren, Zachary, Rachel, Andrew, Charlie, Benjamin, Lucy, William, Benjamin, Charles; siblings, Dora (Woodrow), Edith ;  sister-in-law, Marion Layte and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from the Pentecostal Church, Wings Point on Wednesday, December 10th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will take place from the church on Thursday, December 11th at 2 PM.  Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Wings Point.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Exploits Valley SPCA, Grand Falls-Windsor will be gratefully accepted.
