It is with sadness that the families of the late Alberta Maude Wheaton announce her passing at the Lakeside Seniors Home, Gander, NL aged 88 years. Alberta was born on August 10, 1926 to the late Nathaniel and Charity Collins of Carmanville, NL. She lived in Glenwood, NL since 1953. On March 28, 1944, Alberta married Ronald Wheaton and together they had five sons and two daughters. She is predeceased by her husband, Ronald and her daughter, Patsy. She leaves to mourn, sons; Selby, Grenfell (Alfreda), Winston (Betty), Cyril (Linda), Austin (Karen) and daughter; June (John), 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. The public visitation will took from the Riverside Pentecostal Church, Glenwood, NL on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 7-9 PM and Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral service took place Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 2 PM. Interment followed at the Riverside Pentecostal Cemetery, Glenwood, NL.
