Passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Central NL Regional Health Care Center, Grand Falls-Windsor, Mr. Abel Watkins, age 76 years, of Comfort Cove-Newstead.

He was predeceased by his parents, William and Maude Watkins.  Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Shirley;  son, Clay (Amanda);  daughter, Cindy (Jody);  grandchildren, Andrew (Destinee), Alysha, Amber and Dantè;  brother, James (Karen);  sister, Julia (Joe Wicks) and large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from the Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove-Newstead on Wednesday, January 3 ^rd from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  The Funeral Service will take place from the church on Thursday, January 4 ^th at 2 PM.  The interment will take place from the Salvation Army Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund will be gratefully accepted.
