Passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Mr. Bert Hoddinott, age 87.

He was predeceased by his parents, George and Abigail Hoddinott; daughter, Charlene; brother, Clarence; sisters, Marie and Madeline.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories is his wife of 58 years, Winnie; daughter, Cindy (Paul) Nippard; grandchildren, Matthew Cull (Ramsey), Lucas Wicks (Nikki), Jonanthan Wicks, Jessica Brown (Brandon), Abby (Tyler) Connors, Hannah Nippard (Brandon); great grandchildren, Brody, Indigo, Sophia, Haiden, Easton, Oceanna; siblings, Cyril Hoddinott, Melinda (Carl) Janes; brothers-in-law, Jim Hoddinott, Ben (Paulette) Hoddinott; sisters-in-law, Marion (Lorne) Manuel, Geraldine Hoddinott and a large circle of other family and friends.

The Public Visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 2-4 PM and 7-9PM.

The Funeral Service will take place from The Salvation Army Church, Lewisporte, NL on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 2:30PM. Interment to follow from the Community Cemetery, Embree, NL.

As expression of sympathy, donations to The Salvation Army Building Fund will be gratefully accepted.
